These shorts were born out of frustration with traditional workwear. While working as a baker, I got fed up with wearing men’s shorts that never sat properly on the waist, had awkward dropped crotches, and never felt practical or flattering enough to move around in all day so I made my own.
Cut from heavyweight deadstock cotton drill or twill, and naturally dyed using brown onion skins and black castor seeds, each pair is hand-dyed in small batches, creating soft peachy earth tones that vary slightly from piece to piece.
Designed for comfort, movement, and actual working life, they feature a double elastic waistband and five functional pockets — including a dedicated Sharpie pocket and gathered utility pockets roomy enough for tools, pens, notebooks, or whatever the day requires.
Each pair is made to order.
When ordering, please include:
• Waist measurement in inches
• Measurement from natural waist to crotch drop in inches
•Height
Because of the natural dye process, slight variations in colour, markings, and tone are to be expected and are part of what makes each pair unique.
Lead time is 2-3 weeks.
